Preparation and Inspection
Before starting, our team checks for underground utilities, marks the designated area, and covers existing interlocking or landscape with plywood to protect the ground. Demolition, Excavation, and Base Installation
We demo and excavate 8-13 inches based on project scope, compact the sub-base for stability, install Geo-tech landscape fabric, lay 3-4″ of clear gravel for water flow, and add High-Performance Polypropylene (HPP) for precise leveling.
Paver and Step Installation
Pavers are selected based on preference, with driveways requiring thicker stones for heavier loads. Stones are installed on a laser-leveled base for longevity. We offer natural or custom-built steps to meet your desired dimensions. Polymeric Sand and Final Walkthrough
Polymeric sand is applied between paver gaps and compacted to lock everything in place. Our team then ensures all corrections are made, cleans the site, and provides a care package with maintenance instructions and warranty information. WHAT'S UNDER OUR PAVERS?
The foundation of a strong patio starts with a layered base. Here, you can see a diagram of a typical patio installation, which includes several key elements: a base of compacted soil, a woven fabric weed barrier, a layer of crushed stone for drainage, and a layer of sand for leveling. Finally, the pavers are carefully placed on top of the sand base and secured with polymeric sand, creating a beautiful and durable surface for years to come.
